Concrete Corner Fence Posts

Explore our range of corner fence posts for creating secure and properly supported changes of direction within a fence run. Corner posts are designed for locations where two sections of fencing meet at an angle, helping keep both sides of the boundary correctly aligned and firmly supported.

Our range includes concrete, timber and DuraPost® corner post options for different fencing systems and installation requirements. The correct corner post will depend on the type of panels, gravel boards or rails being used, as well as the angle and finished height of the fence.

Slotted concrete corner posts are commonly used with compatible fence panels and gravel boards. Their slot arrangement allows panels to connect from two directions, creating a practical and durable junction within a traditional panel fencing system.

Timber corner posts provide a natural appearance and can be used with closeboard fencing, feather edge boards, rails, trellis and other timber fencing components. DuraPost® corner options offer a slim, modern alternative for compatible steel post installations.

Choosing the Right Corner Fence Post

Select a corner post that is compatible with the chosen fencing system. Concrete corner posts require the correct slot arrangement for the direction of the panels, while timber posts must provide sufficient section size for the required rails, boards and fixings.

Choose a post length that allows for the panel height, any gravel board and sufficient depth below ground. The corner should be checked carefully before installation so that both fence runs follow the required boundary line.

Where three fence runs meet at one point, use a suitable 3-way post rather than a standard corner post.

Installation

Install the post vertically and position it so each side faces the correct fence direction. Secure it using a suitable post-mix concrete or approved fixing method for the selected post system.

Check the angle and alignment of both fence runs before the post is permanently fixed. Allow post-mix concrete to set correctly before installing heavy panels, gravel boards or other fencing components.
