Choosing the Right End Post
Use a concrete end post where the fence starts or finishes and only one slotted side is required. It should not be used between two panels, at a corner or where three fence runs meet.
Choose a post length that allows for the height of the fence panel, the chosen gravel board and sufficient depth below ground. Check the slot position before installation to ensure it faces the correct direction.
Installation
Position the post vertically with the slot facing the fence run. Install it at the correct depth using a suitable post-mix concrete, checking its alignment before the concrete begins to set.
Allow the post-mix to set correctly before fitting heavy panels or gravel boards. Check for underground pipes, cables and drainage before digging, and use appropriate lifting assistance and protective equipment when handling the post.
