The 1.0m x 75mm x 75mm Concrete Fence Repair Spur provides a strong and practical way to reinforce an existing timber fence post that has become weakened, damaged or unstable near ground level. It can help restore support to the fence without requiring the complete fence post and surrounding panels to be removed.

Manufactured from reinforced concrete, the repair spur is designed for long-lasting outdoor use and will not rot or decay when installed in the ground. It is positioned alongside the existing timber post and securely connected using suitable repair bolts or fixings.

The smooth grey concrete finish creates a neat appearance and coordinates well with other concrete fencing components. This repair spur is suitable for domestic garden fencing, boundary repairs and general maintenance projects.

Installation

Excavate a suitable hole alongside the damaged timber post, taking care not to disturb nearby fencing components or underground services. Position the concrete repair spur vertically against the existing post, with enough length below ground to provide secure support.

Check that the timber post and repair spur are level before securing them together with suitable galvanised repair bolts and washers. The number and position of the fixings should provide firm support without unnecessarily weakening the remaining timber.

Set the repair spur into suitable post mix or concrete and support the fence until the foundation has fully set. Avoid placing excessive load on the repaired post during this period.

Concrete repair spurs are heavy and should be handled carefully. Use suitable lifting methods and wear appropriate protective equipment during transport and installation.
