The 1.3m x 100mm x 100mm Concrete Fence Repair Spur is a heavy-duty solution for strengthening existing timber fence posts that have become damaged, weakened or unstable near ground level. Its larger section and extended length provide substantial support for demanding fence repairs where a standard repair spur may not be sufficient.

Manufactured from reinforced concrete, this repair spur is designed for permanent exterior installation and will not rot or decay below ground. It is installed alongside the existing timber post and securely connected using suitable galvanised repair bolts and washers.

The smooth grey concrete finish creates a neat appearance and coordinates well with other concrete fencing components. This substantial repair spur is suitable for domestic boundaries, commercial fencing and exposed locations requiring increased post reinforcement.

Installation

Excavate a suitably sized hole alongside the damaged timber post, taking care not to disturb nearby fencing components or underground services. Position the repair spur vertically against the existing post, with sufficient length below ground to provide a secure foundation.

Check that the timber post and repair spur are correctly aligned before securing them together with suitable galvanised repair bolts, nuts and washers. Fixings should provide firm support without unnecessarily weakening the remaining timber.

Set the repair spur into suitable post mix or concrete and support the fence until the foundation has fully cured. The required foundation size and installation depth will depend on the fence height, ground conditions and local exposure.

Due to its substantial size and weight, this concrete repair spur should be handled by enough people or with suitable lifting equipment. Wear appropriate protective equipment during transport and installation.
