This 6ft wide by 5ft 6in high premium heavy duty closeboard fence panel is built for projects where additional strength, rigidity and long-term durability are required. Its solid construction provides excellent privacy and security while offering a slightly lower alternative to a full 6ft-high panel.

The panel is constructed using 19 overlapping vertical feather edge boards, each measuring 125mm x 22mm 2ex. These boards create the traditional closeboard appearance while forming a strong and substantial barrier with minimal visibility through the fence.

The feather edge boards are supported by four robust 75mm x 32mm heavy duty timber back rails. These larger rails provide increased support across the full width of the panel, helping to reduce movement and maintain the panel’s shape after installation.

A weather-capped top rail gives the panel a neat, professional finish while helping to protect the upper edge from direct exposure to rain. The timber is pressure treated brown to improve its resistance to rot, fungal decay and general outdoor weathering. The panel is assembled using 50-micron galvanised nails for strong and corrosion-resistant fixing throughout.
