This 6ft wide by 5ft high premium heavy duty closeboard fence panel is designed for fencing projects where extra strength, rigidity and long-term durability are required. Its substantial construction provides excellent privacy and security while offering a slightly lower alternative to full-height 5ft 6in and 6ft panels.

The panel is constructed using 19 overlapping vertical feather edge boards, each measuring 125mm x 22mm 2ex. These thicker timber boards create the traditional closeboard appearance while forming a solid and dependable barrier with minimal visibility through the fence.

The feather edge boards are supported by four robust 75mm x 32mm heavy duty timber back rails. These larger rails provide increased strength across the full width of the panel, helping to reduce movement and maintain the panel’s shape after installation.

A weather-capped top rail gives the panel a neat, professional finish while helping to protect the upper edge from direct exposure to rain. The timber is pressure treated brown to improve its resistance to rot, fungal decay and general outdoor weathering. The panel is assembled using 50-micron galvanised nails for strong and corrosion-resistant fixing throughout.

Measuring approximately 1.83m wide by 1.50m high, this heavy duty panel is suitable for residential gardens, commercial boundaries, exposed locations and replacement fencing projects.
