The 6ft x 6" Rock Face Concrete Gravel Board is a strong and decorative base board designed for installation beneath compatible fence panels. It helps raise timber panels away from direct contact with soil, surface water and damp ground while adding a textured finish along the bottom of the fence run.
Manufactured from reinforced concrete, this gravel board is resistant to rot, decay and insect damage. Its rock face profile creates an attractive stone-effect appearance, making it a practical choice for garden boundaries where both durability and presentation are important.
Measuring approximately 1.83m long by 150mm high, with an approximate depth of 45–55mm, it is designed for use with compatible slotted concrete posts and suitable fencing systems. The lower 6-inch height provides useful protection beneath the fence panel without adding as much visible height as a 12-inch gravel board.

Compatibility
Check that the gravel board length and depth are compatible with the selected post spacing and slot dimensions before ordering. The stated 45–55mm depth is approximate and may vary slightly as part of the concrete manufacturing process.
This gravel board should only be installed with posts and fencing components capable of safely accepting its dimensions and weight. Do not force the board into narrow or obstructed post slots.
Installation
Install the gravel board between suitable slotted concrete posts before positioning the fence panel above. Ensure the posts are correctly spaced, securely set and level before lowering the board into place.
Concrete gravel boards are heavy and should be handled by enough people or with appropriate lifting equipment. Support the board evenly while moving it and avoid dropping it into the post slots.
Position the textured rock face on the preferred visible side of the fence. Check that the gravel board is level and properly supported before installing the fence panel above.
