The Jacksons Urban fence panel is a contemporary, design-led panel combining wide and narrow timber pales to create a distinctive and modern appearance. It is suitable for a wide range of residential and commercial applications where privacy and style are equally important.

Urban panels feature a clean finish on both sides with no visible rails. While the overall design is mirrored on each face, the timber slats alternate to enhance privacy. For added flexibility, the panel can be rotated so the pales run vertically, offering an alternative visual layout.

Panel Construction

Each Urban panel is fully framed and constructed using traditional morticed and tenoned joints for exceptional strength and long-term stability. All timber is planed all round to provide a smooth, high-quality finish.

Manufactured from superior quality vacuum pressure treated Jakcure® softwood timber and assembled using stainless steel fixings throughout, these panels are built to last and are backed by Jacksons’ 25-year guarantee.

Treatment & Installation Guidance

Please note that dimensions may increase by up to 6% when first delivered, as the Jakcure® treatment process can temporarily cause the timber to swell. This will stabilise as the timber naturally dries.

To meet the conditions of the 25-year Jakcure® guarantee, gravel boards must be used where panels are in contact with the ground. This helps prevent moisture absorption and significantly extends the lifespan of the fencing system.

Reducing Panel Width

All Urban fence panels are supplied at a standard width of 1.83m. If a narrower panel is required, it can be cut down on site using the Jacksons cut-down kit. Any cut ends must be treated with Jakcure® Cut Treatment to remain compliant with the 25-year guarantee guidelines.
